This 1-day training is for Supervisory application of the Baby TALK Model for Prevention Initiative funding including use of observation tools, logic model, outcomes and reflective practice.  These trainings will be offered at no charge to programs.

This course is designed for program administrators, including school administrators, who provide administrative or reflective supervision for staff providing home visiting funded by Prevention Initiative funding. Administrators should bring program logic models if they are currently developed.  Participants will synthesize current science on brain development research and family engagement research for direct application in program outcomes through a logic model.  Participants will evaluate a video of a home visit using the Home Visiting Rating Scales (HOVRS A+) and the Baby TALK Protocol Observation Tool. Participants will also apply reflective supervision tenets in a mock session and analyze the use of the Baby TALK Annual Goals and Evaluation document and process.

There is no fee to attend training.  We do ask that you register below and if you have any questions  please contact Nichole by Email or phone 217.475.2234.
