In partnership with the Migration Policy Institute, this presentation examined the importance of leveraging potential home visiting programs to support dual-language learners from a policy and direct practice lens. The speakers discussed gaps in the field and the value of tailored early childhood and family engagement curriculum and home visiting services that match the cultural and linguistic needs of immigrant families with young children.
